Plastic wrap and aluminum foil dispensers perform two basic functions: hold the foil or film into place and cut it. Just place the required foil size into the foil dispenser and you’ll have an instant wrapping buddy in just a minute.

Unlike wrapping foods without any dispenser, containing food and vegetables with a kitchen foil dispenser is clean and sanitary. No insect or pest can get inside the food after being wrapped, since it’s locked and secured.

Most plastic wrap and foil dispensers sold in the market are designed to fit various foil sizes. Some can hold up to two to three sizes using optional locks. Running out of foil or film is not a problem since wrap dispensers can accommodate a wide range of foil sizes such as 12” to 24”.

Storing the plastic wrap dispenser is always easy considering its size and shape. When not in use, one can simply place it back to its box and store it inside a cabinet for future use.

For restaurants and households that may use the aluminum foil dispenser more often, mounting it on the wall will keep it from obscuring the view of other kitchen appliance. Most commercial foil dispensers are designed with mounting locks for wall mounting purposes and rubberized feet for non-slip mobile functions.

If you prefer to go with portable foil dispensers, then a handheld dispenser is all you need. Often referred to as wrap dispenser, it can hold the standard 12” foil used in most packing. What makes the wrap foil dispenser convenient is its design.

One can simply hold the dispenser with the right hand while the other cuts the foil. A disadvantage though, is that you won’t be able to wrap your item while cutting the foil or plastic wrap.

When purchasing, always take into consideration the size of the foil or cling wrap required or supported by the dispenser. If the dispenser is designed to hold multiple sizes of foil or film, it should include the most common foil size you use.

Another option is the blade replacement. All commercial foil dispenser models have built-in blade and cutter which in time will need to be replaced. To make the fullest of your investment, see to it that replacements are available. You may purchase the replacements from any distributor but compatibility with the original kit must be considered.
